The Center for Self-Determination is a non-profit organization, established in 2000, operating as the primary clearinghouse, training and technical assistance source on Self-Determination in the United States and other countries. The Center is devoted to working within the public and private sector to move power and authority over resources directly to individuals with disabilities, families and allies.

The National Resource Center for Participant-Directed Services draws upon years of experience as a National Program Office for the Cash & Counseling projects and over a decade of experience with participant direction.  The National Resource Center for Participant-Directed Services serves to assist all programs, regardless of funding source, to develop and improve their participant-directed options.

The Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) has worked for over 40 years to ensure that people with disabilities have the same opportunity to dream big, and make their dreams a fully included, integrated, and welcomed reality.  ICI  offers training, conducts research, and provides assistance to organizations to promote inclusion of people with disabilities in school, work, and community activities.

The Reinventing Quality Conference archives the presentations made by national innovators and leaders in disability issues and long-term care.   These presentations showcase best practices for providing person-centered supports.

The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (WBPDD) was established to advocate on behalf of individuals with developmental disabilities, foster welcoming and inclusive communities, and improve the disability service system. The Board’s mission is to help people with developmental disabilities become independent, productive, and included in all facets of community life.

The Centre for Welfare Reform works to redesign the welfare state in the United Kingdom in order to increase social justice, promote citizenship, strengthen families and enrich our communities.
